Markus Zoichter
IT generalist – a broad technical foundation from software development to IT security
Markus Zoichter has worked in IT since 2008 and has led EDV Consulting Zoichter GmbH — founded in 1990 by Hans Zoichter and a DocuWare partner since 1998 — as its managing director since 2011. He has been working with DocuWare since version 5.x, so he has watched the product evolve first-hand over many years.
His technical range is unusually broad: software development, systems architecture, cloud and server infrastructure, and IT security. For you as a client, that means short paths and one dedicated contact who understands each of these areas — backed by a well-rehearsed team that designs, implements and reviews every project following the four-eyes principle.
His technical background ranges from classic software development (C#, Java, PHP, VB.NET and various modern frameworks) to Windows Server and Linux Server environments and datacenter operations — complemented by IT security, from firewalls and network security to SIEM. This deep system knowledge across every layer is why he never plans a DocuWare rollout in isolation — always in the context of a company’s entire IT infrastructure, from interfaces and day-to-day server operations through to security hardening.

Mag. Astrid Löffler, BA
DocuWare Implementation Expert · QA · UI/UX · Development · AI
Mag. Astrid Löffler, BA has been part of the Zoichter team since 2022 and is, alongside Markus Zoichter, the second pillar of our DocuWare core business. She holds the same DocuWare certifications as he does — DSC (DocuWare Solution Consultant), DAC (DocuWare Administrator Certified), DocuWare Expert for on-premise and cloud, and DocuWare Support Expert. As a DocuWare implementation expert she designs the functional solution behind every rollout: archive structures, indexing, workflows and permission concepts — tailored to the customer’s real processes.
Her experience comes from demanding roles across the IT industry: at Prodyna she developed software and was responsible for system design of enterprise systems in customer projects, at Nagarro she managed the quality of large software projects as a test manager, and most recently she led both the quality assurance and the UI/UX design teams at Fonds Soziales Wien (FSW).
You can see this combination in every solution: she thinks her way into the day-to-day routines of the people who will use it — from invoice processing and personnel files to order processing — and designs DocuWare solutions that are not just functionally sound but, thanks to her UI/UX background, genuinely intuitive to use.
She owns quality assurance for our DocuWare solutions with the routine of an experienced, ISTQB-certified test manager and QA team lead: configurations, workflows and customizations are reviewed and tested before they go live at the customer. This four-eyes principle between her and Markus Zoichter is a fixed part of every project — functional design and technical implementation keep each other in check.
Drawing on her development and system-design experience from the enterprise world, she also contributes to the development of custom adaptations and drives the use of AI in our projects — for example in intelligent document processing with natif.ai. As an ISTQB Teacher she is also trained in didactics — experience that directly benefits our DocuWare training sessions. Add to that her love of languages: she speaks several foreign languages — including fluent French.
Hans Zoichter
Senior Consultant · Expert for EuroFib & the EuroFib AMS fixed-asset accounting product
Hans Zoichter founded EDV Consulting Zoichter in 1990 and made the company a DocuWare partner in 1998. Our DocuWare experience therefore goes back more than 25 years – to the very beginnings of digital document management.
His EuroFib expertise is first-hand: he was one of the first employees at Schmidhuber EDV in Vienna – the maker of EuroFib. He later moved from Vienna to Carinthia and supported customers across the whole of Eastern Europe with the EuroFib accounting software.
Today he works as a senior consultant and is our expert for EuroFib – the Austrian financial accounting software by Schmidhuber EDV (Vienna), whose modular design (cost accounting, dunning, payment transactions, balance sheet and more) makes it a fit for everyone from SMEs to international corporations. He knows EuroFib AMS just as deeply: the fixed-asset accounting product, available standalone and fully integrated into the EuroFib financial accounting.
His decades of experience at the interface between accounting and document management flow directly into our integration projects – the EuroFib connection to DocuWare is one of the interfaces we already run successfully in production.
Markus and Astrid are the central points of contact for your project. Depending on project scope, additional colleagues work in the background – and alongside them, a proven pool of freelancers supports and relieves our team day in, day out. That way we stay personal and approachable without hitting limits on larger projects.

Markus Zoichter and Astrid Löffler jointly carry the design, implementation and quality assurance of our DocuWare projects. Every solution is built on the four-eyes principle – knowledge never rests with just one person.
Documented and transferable
Every project is documented in a standardized way: archive structures, workflows, permissions and configuration remain traceable at all times. Our solutions are individually tailored to each customer, yet cleanly built on the standard DocuWare platform – upgrade-safe, maintainable in the long run and, thanks to complete documentation, able to be continued by any certified DocuWare partner if ever needed.
Stability instead of firefighting
Our solutions also run in business-critical processes – and that is exactly where our experience pays off: they are engineered so robustly and proven over so many years that genuine emergencies are the rare exception. Support therefore stays plannable rather than hectic. Requests are handled through central channels – office@zoichter.com, the support form and the emergency page – and are worked on as a team.
Small core team, large network
We are deliberately a compact core team – supported and relieved day in, day out by a proven pool of freelancers as well as many external suppliers and subject-matter experts: IT system integrators, datacenter and hosting specialists, and experts for adjacent topics. This lets us scale projects flexibly without depending on any single individual.

Klagenfurt
From our headquarters in Klagenfurt, we support Carinthian companies with short distances and personal proximity — and beyond that, internationally as well, in particular in Slovenia, Croatia and other neighboring countries. Carinthia’s proximity to the border makes it a natural hub for cross-border DocuWare projects.
Vienna
In Vienna, some of the country’s largest and most renowned companies rely on our DocuWare solutions — organizations with complex processes, high document volumes and strict requirements for security and availability. Our Vienna office ensures that these customers, too, receive the same personal proximity as in Carinthia.
By the way: location hardly matters anymore. On request, we run DocuWare projects 100% remotely — from analysis through implementation to training, via Microsoft Teams & co. And we’re just as happy to visit you in person: for workshops, presentations, training sessions or on-site work. By now we support projects across the entire EU — including in Denmark, Sweden, Romania, Germany, Poland and Croatia.
