Your rights
You have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, withdrawal and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can complain to us (office@zoichter.com) or to the supervisory authority — in Austria the Austrian Data Protection Authority (www.dsb.gv.at).
Server log files
When you access our website, our hosting provider automatically stores information in so-called server log files transmitted by your browser: the page accessed, date and time, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser and operating system used, and the IP address in shortened/anonymized form. This processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in the technically error-free and secure operation of the website. This data is not merged with other data sources.
Cookies & consent
Our website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device. Technically necessary cookies required to operate the website (e.g. to store your cookie choice) are set on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). All other cookies and services (in particular Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager) are only set with your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with § 165(3) TKG 2021).
On your first visit we obtain your consent via our consent banner. You can adjust or withdraw your choice at any time with effect for the future via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Until you consent, no analytics cookies are set and no data is transferred to Google (implemented via Google Consent Mode v2). A detailed list of all cookies can be found in ourcookie policy.
Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It is a tool for managing tracking and analytics tags. The Tag Manager itself does not set cookies or collect personal data; it triggers other tags (e.g. Google Analytics) that may collect data. Google Tag Manager is only loaded after your consent.
Google Analytics 4
Subject to your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyze the use of our website (e.g. pages visited, time on site, approximate geographic origin, device used). Your IP address is shortened by Google and not merged with other Google data. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
This may involve a transfer of data to Google LLC in the USA. Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; in addition, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses serve as an appropriate safeguard under Art. 46 GDPR. There is a residual risk that US authorities may access this data. Our analytics data retention period is a maximum of 14 months.
Contact form & email
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, email address, company name and your message) solely to handle your request. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) as well as our legitimate interest or the initiation of a contractual relationship (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Your data is not passed on to third parties. Transmission is encrypted (TLS). Your data is deleted once your request has been fully processed and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Processors
For the operation of the website and individual functions we use carefully selected service providers (processors under Art. 28 GDPR), in particular our hosting provider and Google for analytics and media functions. Corresponding data processing agreements are in place.
